William is a Certified Residential Specialist(CRS). A CRS is the highest designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field by the National Association of Realtors. The CRS Designation recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education. Less than 4% of all Realtors have attained this level within the US. William is one of 12 CRS designees within Norwalk, in a city of almost 400 Realtors (www.crs.com).

William is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors, and the Mid-Fairfield County Board of Realtors. He is presently serving on the William Raveis Agent Advisory Council which acts as a think tank with executive management of the company in order to introduce innovative strategic ideas. He is also pursuing the Certified Residential Specialist designation which is a nationally recognized advanced training program of the National Association of Realtors.

He serves his clients with twenty six years of combined sales, marketing, and management experience. He is a graduate of City University of New York ? Staten Island Campus. His previous experience includes positions with corporations such as IBM, Cisco, Siemens, and ROLM. His Real Estate specialty includes residential Single Family Homes, Condo Solutions, and Multi-Family Homes in the Norwalk , Rowayton, Westport , and Wilton areas.

He has lived in East Norwalk with his wife of thirty years, Helen (Physical Therapist), and three daughters for eight years. He presently resides in Trumbull , CT. He is an active supporting member of the Sierra Club, an environmental activist organization, and is a sailing and golf enthusiast.

William also gives back to the community and his church. He serves as the Chairman of the Social Ministry Committee and is a member of the Common Council at St. Michael´s Lutheran Church in New Canaan . Both he and his wife, Helen are members of the Senior Choir. He supports the Westport G illespie Center where he regularly volunteers to feed the twenty five displaced men at the shelter. He actively participates with the Meals on Wheels program delivering lunches to those shut-ins who are rehabilitating and/or recuperating at home. He has sponsored a young girl, Beatrice Ortiz in Oaxaco , Mexico through the Christian Children´s Fund for the past seven years. Additionally both he and his wife serve the Lutheran Marriage Encounter Ministry where they assist as counselors.

As a Residential Specialist concentrating in the greater Norwalk , Rowayton, Wilton , and Westport area, William provides several levels of real estate consultation. He works with Buyer Clients who have it in their family plan to purchase a home within the immediate area. He also works with those Listing Clients who have it in their family plan to sell their current residence. He also works with those Clients who buy or sell real estate as investments for cash flow and tax purposes.

As a Family Realtor it is William´s long term plan to be your trusted realtor for life. Meaning that he remains in contact with his past and perspective clients long term. He understands that lasting relationships are important to families, and that repeat buying, selling, and investment engagements with dedicated family clients are the core of his long term professional success.
